Thanks, I hope they are more helpful than the airline and express mail
folks here in Arlington.

Our itinerary is nominally 66 miles over 6 days, a big loop. But things
are still up in the air because of the fire currently burning on the
edge of Yosemite. The Rangers assure us we can work around it, but at
present we're not quite sure what our actual itinerary will be. Shades
of Philmont 2002.

We are also spending 4 days in Sequoia, and additional time along the
coast (Monterey, some touristy stuff, etc.) 17 days in all, including
the travel days on both ends.
