Mark, we did Trek 10 the day before you. 703-E. We got our act in gear very early every day except the first, and we managed to do all the extra program except true rock climbing. 8 guys even volunteered for extra work and earned the 50 miler. We did not see any bear. Did you see Pike's Peak from Comanche Peak? One crew leader was barred from the Abreu Cantina after trying to drink 11 root beers, and not making it. We even went over Uracca mesa and did the challenge program on the last day. This old man thought he was not going to make that climb. Loved those rock chairs at Backache, and that pilot to bombadier. I really regret the crew missing the trail from Backache to Rayado and walking on the 4wd road. Second time they have done that to me, and this time I mentioned it several times. Glad we did not leave the trail to smelly for you.
