Another Cold Weather gear item. Sleeping socks.
The afternoon that we hiked for 15 minutes in heavy hail - I said they were
marble sized but the scouts said some were an inch - we were cold and wet.
When I finally got in the sleeping bag, my feet were still wet. It took a
long time to warm them up so I could really fall asleep. I was wishing there
was a pair of socks in the sleeping bag, just for sleeping. Nice, warm, dry,
toasty, socks.
Thanks,
Scott Sibley
