This was the method we used, too. the bags come 2 to a box, make sure you buy the large ones. They weigh next to nothing once you unpackage them and put them in a ziplock. We loved the turkey bag. Biggest problem we had was mixing the food when the water was added. You have to be more than thorough. Other than that, I creates a self-enclosed environment for food preparation that ends up the yummy bag that can be disposed of at the next staffed camp.
