Does anyone know what hours the trading post is open?
Our contingent is arriving around 7pm the night before Day 1. Will we be
able to shop at the trading post (Tooth of Time - or is that just what
the online version is called) after breakfast Day 1 (6:30 am) and before
we check-in (8:00 am)?
Will we be able to squeeze in a tour of Villa Philmont after check-in
and before dinner?
On Day 2 our trek 6 folks will go to Vaca. With no program should we try
for a bus later in the afternoon so we can see more of the museums and
trading post?
On Day 2 our trek 26 guys will go to Rayado River. Can they do a program
at Zastrow or New Abreau on Day 2 if they take an eariler bus?
On Day 12, I was gonna have trek 26 (at Tooth Ridge) wait for the trek 6
guys (at North Fork Urraca) so we can all hike in together. If the North
Fork Urraca guys hit the trail at 6am, what time would be expect to be
back at HQ? Would there be time to run into Cimarron for pizza or
burritos (how long is the bus ride, and how often does it run)? Would
there be time for a tour of the Villa if we didn't do it on Day 1 or Day 2?
What time is the opening campfire on Day 1, and the closing campfire on
Day 12?
Thanks for your help,
Dave Smith
