Since you are arriving a day early, you should have some time to see the
museums on day one, unless you are really disorganized and have an
inefficient ranger.
Trek 6, Day 2 at Vaca: you should be able to do the program at Harlan
(Shotgun, Burro Racing).
There is going to be a big delay for Trek 26 crew waiting at TR for the crew
from NF Urraca to meet up, particularly since they presumably will want to
climb the tooth, and likely you would have done that the previous day. The
crew on Trek 26 might consider just going into base early, getting checked
in and cleaned up and spend the time visiting museums ToTT, etc. This would
allow them to skip these things on day 2 and take an early bus so they have
time for program; recommend Abreu (Mexican Homestead & Cantina) over Zastro.
Being at TR Camp you should be able to get into camp well before most crews.
There won't be any lines to fight (equipment checkin, showers, etc.) and you
would easily make the 11:30 bus into town. Little chance of that for the
Trek 6 crew.
You might consider Trek 6 taking a late bus on Day 2 so they have more time
to tour museums in morning (day 2), since they would likely be back to base
late on day 12. However, this might preclude finding time for shotgun at
Harlan, though you should still be able to do Burro Races in the evening as
long as your ranger gets the training in.
If you know you are going to buy certain items at ToTT, I recommend ordering
them online now. Saves time and hassle. On the other hand if you just want
to shop for the experience this doesn't help. Whatever, you should
definitely get maps ahead of time, so your crew leader can study them.
