Just returned today. Did itinerary 23. The misquotes are a problem above
9,000 feet. The lower you go the less the problem. We were swarmed on Mt. Phillips
on June 30-July 1st where we overnighted. (There was still a huge snow drift
when we left. Also melted snow to insure that we had adequate water for our
hike to Sawmill.) At Sawmill bug spray was still the order of the day.
