we use & have used MSR Waterworks II in 02, 03 and this year, 722-K2. They are good enough for the U.S NAVY SEALS, its good enough for Philmont. Philmont is not a 3rd world country.

Just curious how many Philmont crews this summer have been carrying pump water purifiers this year and how they were accepted by the Rangers and Philmont staff. I understand there is a difference between a "filter" and a "purifier".
