> Has anyone completed Trek #6?
Just got off the trail 702 from trek 6, 620 start date.
The first day in base camp it was 100 degrees...Once we got above 8000 feet the heat wasn't really a problem. the bugs were! take bug juice that you can spray on, as well as the lotion type... the misqitoes will bite you right through your shirt...you will want to spray your clothes....
we had 3 HAIL STORMS above 9000 ft.. one lasted for 3 hrs and left about an inch on the ground (40 deg that day) we had 4 nights in the mid to upper thirtys.... keep the fleece..)
Plenty of water, even at Devils Wash Basin (YMMV), of course Mt Phillips (Commanche Peak) is dry, cook your hot meal at Cypher's for lunch before you go.
Feel free to ask any other questions you might have about Trek 6
