Chas is exactly right. Food is always welcome. Other ideas: a deck of cards, newspapers from back home, laundry detergent/ fabric softener, etc.

We just sent a care package to some staff members out there. They love paperback books, magazines you have already read, non perisable treats, Music CD's, DVD's. Remember, they live at CHQ or PTC all summer in isolation. So normal things that you see every day are something special to them.
