Shoes: I took the Keen sandals, and loved them. Toe protection, good
traction, airy. I attached them to the outside of my pack by using two
Velcro strips and two small carabineers.
First aid: After our trek, I would advise a couple of other things:
1) Steri-strips - the new butterfly strips. These can really
come in handy.
2) Diarrhea relief - don't forget, this is one of the symptoms
of altitude sickness. We had one advisor that had some symptoms at
Clear Creek. A little medicine, and he was ok.
