[Philmont]: Quiet Time

The list certainly is quiet.

As far as I know, our two 714-C crews (now on day #8) are doing well.
I've been sending updates to our troop's e-mail list each day telling
about each day's program and each crew's daily destination. I included
the below list in today's email.

10. Letters home signed "Prisoner #714-C."
9. Sounds disappointed when he mentions almost being bitten by a timber
rattler.
8. He's been roasting Prozac over the campfire.
7. He sends a photo with his new cell phone, proudly showing off the new
latrine he's been digging as his personal conservation project.
6. Philmont Director of Program phones and says, "We're concerned about
Psycho, I mean your spouse."
5. "Fun time" is 4 hours spent visiting the nearest Red Roof Inn.
4. His name: "Andy"; his nickname: "Andy, the soon to be 55-year old
makes the funniest noises when he puts on his backpack."
3. Makes flashlight hand shadows using only his middle fingers.
2. You ask to see picture of his crew -- he sends photo of a bunch of
sticks.

He's lost 20 pounds, and he's been eating all the trail food he can
scrounge.
