No, the fire that Brian is referring to did occur in 2000. For an

I do not recall a similar fire in 2002 on Tooth Ridge, but of course
that was the year of many fires, so it's entirely possible. There was a
small fire just below Clark's Fork that I know of, but that occurred
pre-season, and was only a danger to the Rangers and staff at Clark's
Fork. That small fire zone is now a "Nature Walk".
