In 2002 I was at Cypher's Mine when the fire broke out on Tooth Ridge.
There was one crew in particular that was in the wrong campsite. They had
stayed with us, I believe the night before, and had requested an itinerary
change. They were told, by us and logistics, to stick to their original
itinerary. Apparently, they decided on their own to change. When finally
located, they blamed Logistics and other various staff, for telling them
they could change. This was a pretty serious situation that disrupted
program for many crews and placed the crew and staff members in danger.
