[Philmont]: Advice

Advice I've received over the years.......

Philmont 8-Day Underwear
------------------------
  Wear 'em for 2 days
  Turn 'em around and wear for 2 more days
  Turn 'em inside out and wear for 2 more days
  Turn 'em around and wear for an additional 2 days

Then, take 'em off and throw on ground near a campfire and they will be
strong enough to jump right in the fire. Or, mail 'em home to Mom.....

Here is a list of the Top 10 Things Parents and Spouses Should Not Worry
About When Your Philmont Camper Returns Home....

10. Don't worry if your Philmont camper wants to keep a spider stick in
the bathroom.

9. Don't worry if your Philmont camper asks, "Is anyone not ready yet?"
before your family departs on a trip.

8. Don't worry if your Philmont camper believes that two showers in ten
days is "good enough."

7. Don't worry if, when getting dressed in the mornings, your Philmont
camper uses the "this was clean yesterday" rule.

6. Don't worry if your Philmont camper departs for a 10-day vacation or
business trip with only two sets of clothes.

5. Don't worry if your Philmont camper seems to get excited if you have
Chips Ahoy as an after dinner dessert.

4. Don't worry if your Philmont camper gets up in the morning and asks,
"Is our water purified?"

3. Don't worry if your Philmont camper always wants to take a spare roll
of toilet paper whenever leaving home.

2. Don't worry if several months go by before your Philmont camper wants
to eat a cracker of any type.

And the # 1 thing......

Don't worry if your Philmont camper demonstrates the "human sump"
clean-up method after dinner one evening.
