There's another way I've hear it told....

 Only Two pair; Wear the first pair until its dirty and
change. Wear this second pair
 until the first pair looks clean, change. ... Repeat..

Philmont 8-Day Underwear

  Wear 'em for 2 days
  Turn 'em around and wear for 2 more days

  Turn 'em around and wear for an additional 2 days

Then, take 'em off and throw on ground near a campfire and
they will be
strong enough to jump right in the fire. Or, mail 'em home
to Mom.....

10. Don't worry if your Philmont camper wants to keep a
spider stick in
the bathroom.

showers in ten
days is "good enough."
