Greetings
Since you asked:
I thought both campfire programs were excellent. I haven't been to the
ranch in several years and the change was refreshing - although I kind
of missed the Conquistador ??? and his "Spanish Blade". The propane
"campfires" will be/were much nicer than kerosene lanterns or
floodlights during those times of "Extreme Fire Danger EVERYWHERE";
ceramic logs might add to the realism. I don't know how many caught it,
but I liked the tie-in between the historic Scout and the film in the
Opening Campfire and the letter home to the boy's Grandpa.
I also missed the photo backdrops "WAMI" and arrowhead for crews to take
pictures in front of at the closing fire, but the facility was great and
the program well done.
Keep up the excellent work.
Happy Trails,
Roy Fisher
We've put a lot of work into the new facilities and programs, and we
would be interested in feedback from anyone who's returned from the
trail this year.
