No offense taken. Just wanted to clarify. The insignia guide specifically
states you can only wear one of the three high adventure symbols on the left
shoulder of your jacket. So, wearing the Loon on the right is contrary to
the explicit statements in the insignia guide. Whether that constitutes a
"major faux pas" is, of couse, a matter of how you view the insignia guide
:-)
What I ended up doing was moving the Loon over to the front RIGHT shoulder
and putting the Bull on the front LEFT shoulder. The two actually fit quite
nicely in those spots and I get to wear them both (and quite proudly, I
might add).
Not saying that's what everyone should do, but I get a lot of compliments
on my jacket, especially on the Loon since people don't see it as often. It
also stirs conversation about both places. Sure hope wearing them that way
isn't a major faux pas.
