[philmont] uniform pants news

I saw a pair of the new pants at the scout shop last Saturday 7/22 before we went to summer camp. They look almost identical to a pair of REI pants that I bought for Philmont in 04. Since I spent a week at summer camp I don't remember what the price was. I think it wasw advertised as uniform wear. They have the BSA logo on them.

  BSA National Supply will be unveiling zip-off leg Boy Scout pants this fall, according to our Council Executive. Whether these will actually be designated as uniform wear, however, is unknown. If you have seen the new Stetson BSA hats, you may have noticed a small disclaimer: "not for uniform wear."
