We are going to be in Cimarron this Saturday night, staying in the St.
James Hotel. What are the dinner opportunities there? Anything new?

___________

Route 64 Drive-In (burgers, etc.) was new to me last fall.

Simple Simon's Pizza is still very good.

The Burrito Banquet is open during the summer (late breakfast & lunch).

The Porch has sandwiches and a deli.

The Cre-Mee has burgers, etc. and soft-serve ice cream.

The St. James has a formal dining area (expensive) and a coffee
shop/lounge where the food is less expensive and excellent.

Of course, the Cimarron Art Gallery has an old fashion soda fountain.

The Kit Carson Motel has been renamed and we were told in October that
their restaurant would be opening sometime this year.

You may want to try the Coyote Cantina at Philmont after coming in off the
trail.
