[Philmont] Former Champions

When my son & I ate at Heck's maybe 5 years ago,
 people were smoking all
over the restaurant. I haven't been back because of
 that and sure
didn't enjoy the food. Is that still common, or did
 we hit a bad/weird
time?

Katy, Texas - Home of Champions

First off Katy, Texas is the home of former champions! You gotta pass that title around some now don't you? Can youj tell I live in SE Texas where football is king and that means if you go grocery shopping on Friday nights you got the store to yourself. Had to just poke a little fun at Cathy.

Second Katy , Texas is the home of the dangest clogged interstate especially when you want to "go West young man, go West!" But Bass Pro shope or WalMart under the blue water tower are pretty good rest room stops.

OK, second. Last time we were in Hecks the smoke was not a problem else my wife would have pulled the fire alarm and evacuated the place. She can't stand cigarette smoke within a mile of her.

And Hecks cookies are still 500 milers.
