[Philmont] Problem

Since I posted this on June 25th, three people have told me about similar
problems in prior years. Sadly, this leads me to believe the Philmont
Administration hasn't given a high priority to correcting the problem.

If you have a crew with female members, my suggestion is that you station
someone outside the CHQ restrooms/showers designated for females to remind
men not to enter.

Our Cavalcade crew (616-CV) had 15 riders including 1 adult female and two
19-year old female Venturers.  They had problems with adult men walking
into the tent city restrooms and showers designated for females.  This
took place on each of the three days the crew was at CHQ.
Guys, if you're going to be at Philmont, open your eyes and read the signs
on the restrooms and shower houses.  You don't want to be threatened with
being turned in to the Colfax County Sheriff as happened to at least two
supposedly tired, sleepy and definitely very rude adults earlier this
month.
