As I found during our 2005 trek, there are few experiences like *needing*
to find a pilot to bombardier at a trail camp at midnite when you forgot to
locate it while it was still light out (I do claim the excuse that we were
two miles from our chuckwagon program and we stayed down there until
close to dark rather than head back up to our camp while there was still
stuff to do at the staffed camp).
As to the smells, I suppose you folks who can do the early treks have
a bit of advantage there. Our schools don't get out til late june, so we
always have to take a later trek.
