Sorry, I just don't get the need to inquire in advance. Surprise me. A latrine is a hole in the ground with a box on top with more or less privacy, Each campsite has a map posted with locations of latrines, sumps, bear cables.
That being said, the boxes at Agua Fria and Tooth Ridge are truly sublime, as others have posted. There's one at Red Hills that is worth a visit, as well, not for the view, but for the solitude.
