Bill,

I understand your confusion. We are trying to decide as a crew whether
we want to bring a shovel to use for digging catholes or if we want to
rely on tent stakes. I was inquiring not to determine what type of
latrine was present at a particular camp, but if there was a latrine
of any type at the camps we will be passing through or camping in. If
most or all of the camps have some sort of latrine, we will likely
leave our shovel(s) at base camp.
