Jay,
Nature calls at unexpected times and locations.
Sometimes things cannot be held until the next camp.
We have always carried two per (12 person) crew and have had times
where they were both in use at the same time.
..... agony and panic of an urgent nature call needs immediate
attention, not instruction to "hold it" - "there is supposed to be a
toilet up here somewhere".
Take the shovel.
