They sell white gas, which is always available, and they carry Coleman powermax cartridges, which can be used in the Coleman Peak One Expert and Extreme Stoves (one has 3 legs, one has 4). In 2005 they had plenty of both in backcountry, but I would probably try to carry enough cartridges to last the entire trek. We were pretty wasteful, and used about 7 of them. Cartridges are about 4 or 5 bucks each, so the white gas option is much more affordable, The cartridges must be packed out, but they can be punctured flattened and recycled, I don't know about propane.

Am I at least correct in my memory that any stove I buy must be able to take the refillable gas bottles??
Thanks again,
