[Philmont] ***POSSIBLE SPAM*** Phil Tent Weight

I did not weight the philtent but 2 of our 14 year-olds in the 120lb range split it between themselves.
They admitted that they could have had another 14 year tent with them.

According to some of the gear lists that I read online, the Phil tents were 5 1/2 lbs. One of our crew members called Philmont, and logistics said the tents weighs a little over 7 lbs.
 
In your experience, which one is closer to the truth? If it's closer to 7, I will bring lighter tents.
