[Philmont] skin irritation

Circling back around to the discussion of butt paste v. Desitin v. various other remedies for chafing and other discomfort, I took a 35 mm film can of A&D ointment on my recent Adirondack canoe trip, as I have done on many previous occasions. In the warmth of the summer sun, the oinment liquified and flowed out of its "container", coating everything in that pocket with a film of A&D, despite the Ziplock sandwich bag the film can was in (and rendering the whole mess "smellable"). I guess I'd have to recommend keeping it in its original tube from here on out.

Despite the "oil spill', there was plenty left for its originally intended purpose.

Much chagrined.
