Folks: While at Turkey Creek Camp last week, a member of my Crew found
a camera memory card in a small, clear plastic sleeve. This evening I
finally had a chance to take it to a local photo shop to look at the
pictures (hoping to see the Crew photo on Day 1). Unfortunately, the
card only has 6 photos, all nearly identical shots of two boys with a
Christmas tree behind them.
The card is a FujiFilm xD Picture Card. It is only 16 MB, meaning it
was almost certainly the card that came with the camera (thus also
explaining the Christmas shots).
I believe that only Trek 32 Crews are scheduled to stay at Turkey Creek
camp this year. So if you were on that trek, or know of anyone else
that was, I'd appreciate it if you could forward this information to
those folks who had a digital camera.
Note that this is only about a 5 dollar memory card, and since it
doesn't have any Philmont or other particularly valuable photos on it,
I'm not going to hunt too hard for its owner. I'll give it a week or
two, then it hits the can.
