Noticed today there looked to be two fires burning on Philmont. I was
flying
over a fire just south of Rayado a few miles, doing "air attack" and recon
on
it.

One fire appeared to be in the Dean Canyon area, but cant guarantee it since
I was about 20 miles away. One looked to be near Ponil, but the one near
Dean looked fairly big. There was one more very small one on top of a
ridge,
just west of Cimarron above 64.

These are probably all a result of the lighting around northern NM
yesterday.
Anyone have any more info on those fires?

I did get to fly over CHQ, and rocked my wings as I flew over at about 1000
ft or so.
Unfortunately I forgot my digital camera, but I will have it tomorrow, and
hopefully get some pictures if I get sent back there.
