As the days get real close to our trip, as is the case with many of you out
there, any and all information regarding news from Philmont is very much
appreciated.
It seems Mr. Tuck has the best inside scoop on information. First, my
family and I hope that all staff at Philmont are safe and remain in good
condition no matter what happens to Philmont's schedules. We wish to thank
Mr. Tucks daughter not only being a staff member, but for keeping us
informed.
I think I can speak for all members of my crew and probably for members of
others on this list when I respectfully ask Mr. Tuck to relay any
information his daughter can give to us. My dad and I broke the news to our
crew tonight. Many heavy hearts as we await the outcome since most of our
Trek # 3 is already up in flames and smoke. Our other crew has Trek 13,
which is not affected by the flames.
Many thanks to all who post current updates to the crisis.
