If there's a 92 Mb anything on the web, most people will not be able
to access it. Try putting it on a CD and shipping CD's to people.
Another productive effort might be to look at the slides and
photographs individually, see what takes up big chunks of space, and
look for more practical ways of storing that information. Could you
use a lower resolution, or better compression, when storing the
photographs as jpeg files, for instance?
