Answer...
Don't know what you have access to. The first place I looked was the TREKS
2002 Itinerary Guide. Third item in the checklist on page 14 is "All youth
members age 14 by January 1, 2002 OR (Philmont emphasis) completed 8th grade
AND (Philmont emphasis) be at least 13 by date of attendance." Of course,
the January 2002 date is for 2002 treks - the general wording is 14 years
old by January 1 of the year of attendance.
