The last several times I have gone, I have carried a 1 pound bag of
Twizzlers until about day 7 or 8 and then broken them out for the
Crew for "Advisors Coffee" at a trail camp. This time it will
probably be day 7 at Comanche Peak (but don't tell my crew!)
(On second thought, maybe day 6 at Comanche Camp would save
me from having to carry that extra pound up the backside of
Mt. Phillips :-)
I also have carried a paperback book on the trail. It helps to keep
me out of the Crew's way in camp and if we get caught with
some inclement weather I am set.
