I recall reading something that a Baldy camp was still in the loop and also
assumed that it was within the confines Philmont's boundaries, therefore
still in play. I knew the National Forest was closed before the fire but
did not think that affected Baldy, except how you approached it. I guess it
shows my ignorance. I don't know the ranch like the back of my hand having
only been there once, 30 years ago.
