[Philmont]: Insect Repellent as Smellable?

You won't need insect repellent at Philmont. In 11 trips
to Philmont at different times of the year (March, June,
July, August, September & October), I've only been
bothered by insects during one day. That was during a
very, very "wet" June in 1995 when the 'skeeters ran me
out of my hammock at Beaubien.
