I had the opportunity to call Philmont Logistics today.
I wasn't bothering them, they actually called me first!
Anyway, the fella there said that they had had good,
heavy, rains the last four days. The air was clear and
there was no smoke. He wasn't sure if the fire was 100%
out, but said if the rains had no quenched it, it
shouldn't take too much more to mop up. I asked if there
was any discussion about whent he North Country might
open up and he said no, and said there was absoulutely
not chance by the time we get there on 7-02.
Every little bit of info helps! Thanks to all.
