Given the discussion of trekking poles, this is right on topic. Sort
of.
I've got my trekking poles and I like 'em just fine. One of the other
adults in our crew is a touch on the frugal side and isn't keen on
buying poles. He's wondering if there's a ready supply of tree branches
laying around basecamp that he can use for a staff. Does anyone know
about the tree branch supply? I don't think he'll care if the branch
has shocks or not :-)
