As the instigator of the original thread, perhaps I should be allowed=
to have the last word on this subject? The thread may have gone on =
a bit too long, but the information posted on trekking poles was wond=
erful. Last Friday I had a new pair of poles, with no clue as to how=
they should be assembled or used. Today I'm confident that I'm enou=
gh "in the know" to give them a trial run this weekend, trying out a =
few options presented by list members. Thanks to you all! And thank=
s to Coop and the other veterans on the list for putting up with the =
thread for so long. Now, what's the deal with those bandannas? ;-)=
