Our 2001 crew used the '2 gallon' Platy bags, and our 2003 crew has used
them for all of their shakedowns with good results. We plan to take two of
them on our trek this month. They have a zip-lock top which must be kept
free of dirt and grit, but it hasn't been a problem. They stand up well,
and everyone seems to like them.
