Our crews have used the MSR dromedaries as well for the last several years with great success. They roll up and travel both full and MT very well. With the multitude of sizes available it also allows extra water to be moved throughout the crew without shifting other weight.

We had problems with Platy's when they fisrt came out and discouraged their use due to the significant number of failures with the plastic cap at the bottom.

MSR makes some nice bags called Dromedaries. They have a large mouth opening, a threaded loop that circles the bag woven through grommets so the bag can easily be carried, strapped down or hung on a branch. They are covered with of a very tough material and I have never had one leak or break. I have a 1 lt., 2 lt., 4 lt. and 6 lt. They also make a nice twist lever spout that can have a hose attached for a shower or whatever.

The other thing to consider is a collapsible bucket, typically made of a tough waterproof material with a handle. Great for hauling water back to camp. They can also be employed when river water is murky. Dip and fill with water and wait a little while until the debris settles.
