[Philmont] - sombrero hats

Just because you may have a thick, full head of hair, don't underestimate the
power of the sun. I spent most of a vacation week outside in May doing yard
work at our new house. When I went to get my hair cut on Friday, the
hairdresser commented my scalp was sunburned. That week I was off was partly
sunny to sunny all week with the temperatures barely breaking 80 on one day. I
now wear my trekking hat, a $6 Army surplus summer hat, a lot more. It has
about a 3" brim, four 1/2" diameter screened vents for great cooling, and
weighs almost nothing. I also add a bandana to the back to protect the neck
when needed. It's not waterproof but does easily fit under the hood of my rain
coat and the front rim still keeps the water off the glasses.

The P2 branding on the side rim give it additional character.
