I would have hesitations about swapping between the trail clothes and
sleep clothes. It is a great idea, I wished I had thought abou it.
However, it would only work in the best of circumstances. Going in June,
your chances of rain are less, but I can remember a number of times during
the summer where it just rains for days on end (like 5-10 days). Once you
decide it is time to change over your trail clothes and sleep clothes, you
wash the trail clothes and wear your previous sleep clothes for trail
clothes, the newly washed clothes (now your sleep clothes) may not get to
dry if you are in a rainy period.

Your sleep clothes have to be dry. They must also be free of food odors.
If you spilled food on there that you can't get out with just camp suds,
then you are increasing your odds of a close encounter with a bear.

It seems like a great idea if everything goes your way, but it is a little
risky.

Also, on going commando style, for those that don't know it, that means
not wearing any drawers (underwear) or as we say in the south, draws. I
have talked to people who have liked and those who have disliked the
experience. If you haven't tried it on the trail on a test hike, then I
wouldn't risk doing anything different.

On using rain pants for activities, you can't use them for spar pole
climbing at Crater and Pueblano. They also are not allowed on horse back
rides. If you have some BSA pants, warmup pants, or BDU's (US Military
camo pants) these are lighter than blue jeans but still able to be used in
the activities that require long pants.

You've obviously put a lot of thought and planning into your stuff. Have
fun out there.
