I bought a 9X10 piece of Tyvek from Austin's Tyvek.

I have no connection to them. It was pretty pricey, but then again I am
protecting a $200 tent. Great stuff after I washed it 5 or 6 times to soften it
up. I will get soft, even though you would bet money it won't!! Very
lightweight. Should last "forever". In a pinch, it would make a great tarp. Who was
it that said all items should have more than one use? Best ground cloth I
have ever seen.

On another topic. I would rate the "trail" down into Copper Park from
Greenwood Canyon the worst trail at Philmont. At least in 2001. A close second is
the Tooth of Time trail. Back side of Phillips is bad. Steep but "short".
No switchbacks. Straight up.
