[Philmont]: Arkansas River whitewater conditions

For those planning a whitewater experience prior to their Philmont trek this
summer or next:

I had the pleasure of spending a day on the Arkansas River near Buena Vista,
CO this past weekend. Excellent whitewater conditions. The flows were about
2000 cfs.

We used Wilderness Aware rafting. Excellent guides for our troop. Highly
recommended.

Only 9 days to Philmont...
