[Philmont]: Rain

I'll post a question, just to keep things going since we don't arrive at
Philmont till July 26.

When it rains there, is it windy as well or does the rain come straight
down?

Our two crews have just exchanged all our Eurkea Zeus Exo tents for Apex
2XTAs which have a large rain fly. The down side is that the fly adds a
lot of weight. It can be reduced in size by zipping out a section or
two, but we don't want to risk leaks. In addition to condensation, the
Zeus tents leaked terribly, primarily at the side vents. One of our
advisors worked with Eureka to make the exchange for a small upcharge.
The Apex is much larger as well.
