I'm not aware that any of our guys/gals are taking anything fancy. I
advised them to take only one or two cameras per crew and then have
multiple copies of the photos made.
When they saw the size of the stuff sack each person has to cram all of
his/her equipment in, taking multiple cameras became a low priority.
During our last Cavalcade in 1998, the crew took several disposable
cameras and used them. They said it was almost impossible to use a camera
while riding horses (one reason is because the wrangler won't let you) but
the disposable cameras fit in the saddle bags and could be retrieved
during rest stops for photo taking.
