I've used single wall tents all over the western hemishpere. Prefer them. Important issue in any tent is ventilation. Any tent same issue, ventilation.

Subject: [Philmont]: Single-wall tents & condensation
Though it rains in Philmont, I remember the actual dewpoint was quite low & had no significant inner-wall condensation problem in '02. I am thinking of these newfangled silnylon tents, and wondering if anyone has had any experience @ Philmont with single-wall construction.
