[Philmont]: single wall tents

for what it's worth, i took a eureka zues exo (single wall) 1 man last year on our 608 trek. the configuration is great, except for the ventilation. i had sever condensation problems almost every night. we had sleety snow three days between cyphers and porcupine (and a touch at beaubien), which might have had something to do with the problem. eureka recommends leaving the vestibule flap open, if it is not raining or snowing. i might try sleeping with head and shoulders in the vestibule, if same problem is encountered this year on another 608 trek. jackson morris, lodge adviser, seminole lodge 85
